ABOUT ME

Hi! My name is Jalen Muraoka and welcome to my art page! I am a Civil Engineer by day and an artist by night (and every spare moment in between). I am captivated by the beauty that always surrounded me growing up in Kaneohe, Hawaii, and I like to express that in my art. My main mediums are acrylic paint and colored pencils which allow me to explore the rich colors and intricate details of my favorite subjects: flowers, mountains, and waves.

When I am not drawing or painting, I am sketching on my iPad, designing seamless fabric patterns, sewing, crocheting, sculpting, making ceramics, painting my nails, making lei, or just doodling and imagining my next project.  I hope you enjoy my art and creations.
